Not all boarding steps are the same

There are different requirements and safety standards depending on the application. Passenger steps, for example, have two handrails with rubberized handrails to allow passengers to board the aircraft safely. Service steps are for instructed personnel, such as crew or cleaning staff. Maintenance steps are for service personnel who work on the aircraft. None of these aircraft steps are off-the-shelf products. Every airport has its own requirements.
